- The Holy Scriptures: We believe the Bible, comprising the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the divinely inspired Word of God. It is inerrant in its original manuscripts and serves as the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith, conduct, and truth.
- The Nature of God: We affirm that there is one God, infinitely holy and eternally existent, manifested in three distinct persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This Trinity embodies the creatorship and sovereignty of God over all existence.
- The Person of Jesus Christ: We declare that Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life. His death on the cross was a redemptive sacrifice for our sins, and His bodily resurrection signifies His victory over sin and death. He ascended to heaven and is our intercessor until His return.
- The Dignity of Humanity: We believe every person is created in the image of God, encompassing all genders, races, ethnicities, and abilities. Every human life, from conception to natural death, is imbued with inherent dignity and worth, meriting respect and protection.
- The Fall and Redemption: Human nature is marred by sin, necessitating regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation. Salvation is attained solely through faith in Jesus Christ, justified by His blood, and is a gift of God’s grace, not by human works.
- The Role of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit indwells believers, guiding, sanctifying, and empowering them for godly living and service. He seals believers for the day of redemption, ensuring our eternal security.
- The Church: The church is a spiritual body of all true believers, unified in Christ and animated by the Holy Spirit. It serves as a community for worship, service, and the proclamation of the Gospel to all nations.
- Christian Ordinances: We uphold two Christian ordinances: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism symbolizes the believer’s union with Christ in death and resurrection. The Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of Christ’s sacrifice, affirming our ongoing faith and hope in Him.
- The Assurance and Responsibility of Believers: All true believers are assured of eternal life, justified and sanctified by faith. While salvation is secure, a believer’s fellowship with God is maintained through obedience and may be affected by sin.
- The Resurrection and Judgment: We affirm the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost—the saved to eternal life with God, and the lost to eternal judgment and separation from God.
- The Return of Christ: We await the glorious return of Jesus Christ, who will consummate His Kingdom. In His return, all believers will be united with Him eternally, reigning with Him in a new heaven and new earth.
